Jennifer Lopez is famous for her fashion sense, which consists of many animal fur garments. Lopez is not unaware of how many animals the fur industry cruelly traps, cages and kills to make that gorgeous fur coat that in the end is helping destroy the environment.

It used to be fashionable to dig up grandma’s ancient mink shawl because fur was apart of the sophisticated rich lifestyle. However, there are alternatives to inhumane torture and the unnecessary killing of animals just for a fashion statement. It is my contention that hunter’s traps are like slamming a finger in a car door, and obscene farming of animals is destroying the environment.
